2000 × 2000 pixels. That's the threshold above which Amazon enables hover-to-zoom on the product page — a feature that meaningfully lifts conversion. JPEG, sRGB color, white background (#FFFFFF).

What dimensions do Flipkart, Meesho, and Myntra require?

Flipkart wants 2000 × 2000 (square) for the primary image. Meesho wants 1200 × 1200 square with a pure white background. Myntra wants 1080 × 1440 — a 3:4 portrait frame, the fashion-editorial standard.

Minimally. We use mozjpeg encoding at quality 85-90, which is the sweet spot most marketplaces use themselves. For most listings the loss is invisible at normal viewing sizes.

Letterbox (contain). The full original fits inside the target frame and we pad with white on whichever side is shorter — your product is never cropped or distorted.

Why a white background?

All major Indian marketplaces (Amazon India, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra) require a pure white #FFFFFF background for the primary product image. Listings with off-white or gradient backgrounds get rejected or down-ranked in search.

Can I keep PNG transparency in the output?

No — for marketplace resize we always output JPEG and flatten transparency to white, because that's what marketplaces require. If you need to preserve transparency, use the Clean EXIF tool instead, which keeps the original format.

What's the largest file I can upload?

4 MB. If your camera or phone produced a larger file, downscale or compress once on your device first — most photo apps have a "Reduce Size" option.

Which input formats are supported?

JPEG, PNG, and WebP. RAW formats (CR2, ARW, NEF, DNG) need to be exported to one of those first from your camera software.

Are my images stored on your servers?

No. Anonymous uploads run entirely in memory — we receive the file, process it, send back the result, and discard the buffer. Nothing touches our database or storage. Your file is never on disk.

That's a content rule (the product itself must occupy ≥85% of the frame). Resize doesn't change composition — it preserves your original framing, just at the new dimensions. If your input already meets 85%, the output will too.
